Prerequisites

There are no pre-requisites, and the digital course is designed to help people who are new to financial subjects to pass the exam.

Direct access to all the resources means that candidates who already have some knowledge can work only on the topics on which they might need additional help, and then quickly access the exam.

A specific tool (our training plateform) has been introduced to help candidates to train on the exam’s questions. It allows students to select specific topics of the exam.

Training tools

Tools available for training

1. The digital learning package

It is the backbone of learning, the structure of effective preparation for managing all the important subjects. It is made up of complementary teaching tools that will enable you to prepare effectively for success. The digital pathway provides access to the following resources:

  • A complete digital course, the heart of our support system
  • A training platform (database of practice questions and mock exams)
  • Summary sheets

The digital course

The digital course comprises 12 themes (the same as those in the AMF Instruction). Each theme is made up of several modules focusing on knowledge points. By breaking down the questions in the single database, we were able to highlight 70 skill/knowledge points.
The course therefore comprises a total of 70 e-learning modules covering all the concepts you need to know in order to pass the exam.
Each e-learning module is followed by a mini-quiz that allows learners to draw randomly from the questions in the exam database whose subjects are covered by the associated e-learning. In this way, learners can check that they have acquired the knowledge they need to answer the exam questions correctly.

The e-learning (lasting a maximum of 20 minutes) consist of :

  • Introducing video;
  • Written learning ressources;
  • Interactive activities to check what you have learnt;
  • A summary of the key points to remember in order to answer the questions correctly.

The training plateform

Once they have started the Digital Learning Path, learners have access to a practice platform that allows them to practise the different topics on the knowledge grid.

Each question is accompanied by a detailed explanation to help them fully understand the knowledge point in question.
Learners are free to select the topics (or sub-topics, to be even more precise) on which they wish to practise, as well as the number of questions they wish to see, thus adapting to the work time available.
A results slider keeps track of learning on questions A and C. The aim, of course, is to get this slider above the 80% correct mark.
The questions proposed are of course updated each time the single question base is modified by AMF.

Summary sheets

To help you better understand the most difficult topics in the exam, we have created summary sheets that summarise the most important aspects of a subject. Complete with summary graphs and tables, these sheets help to optimise revision and practice on the questions.

 2. The support

Access to mock exams and exam registration

Once they are ready, learners can use the mock exams available on the platform to check that they are ready to take the exam. They have access to a detailed correction of these mock exams in order to identify any topics they may need to revisit if the mock exams are not conclusive.

Once they have checked their ability, they can register directly on the platform, choosing the exam date that suits them best. These dates are regularly updated by Lefebvre Dalloz Compétences teams.

Exam

The AMF exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 2 hours on a secured computer.

The questions are broken down into the 12 topics defined in the knowledge grid published by the AMF and assigned specific weightings.
